Background
Until
July 2007 I was Professor of Intelligent Information Systems
and Associate Dean of the School of Computing and Technology at
the University of Sunderland.
I am now Chief Scientific Officer of the Information Retrieval
Facility in Vienna, and also run my own business specialising
in:
- Information retrieval and search engine technology
- Information systems and information technology programme management
- Research and development, including project proposal evaluation
